I'm wondering if there is a setting to make the transitions between
renderings in the 3D Viewer to occur more smoothly. When I make a 3D
volume of a stack and I rotate the volume from the top view to a side
view, at some angle the volume rendering changes from isolated disks
to blurring those disks together in z. This transition occurs in one
step, and looks jarring. Here's an example: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/538627/fiji-3d%20360.avi
I notice that the Micro-Manager version of the plugin gives smoother
transitions between the renderings:
This is the 3D Viewer in the newest version of Fiji:

This is from the 3D Viewer in Micro-Manager 1.4 (which I think is an
older version of the plugin):

The Edit->Options->Memory settings are nearly the same in both
programs (3991 vs 4000 MB). Are there some other settings I should try
changing?
Thanks,
-Sam
